A.D. Marble & Company provided design and construction management services for the City of Reading to develop an environmental education park at the former location of Angelica Lake. The goals of the project were to meet the requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency’s mandated ‘Supplemental Environmental Project’ for fines relating to the City’s sewer treatment plant. Goals included environmental restoration, increasing recreational opportunities with in the park, and creating educational opportunities for various colleges and environmental organizations in the region. Additionally, A.D. Marble & Company provided monitoring and maintenance services for 5-years post-construction, and developed educational and wayfinding signage for the trails within the park.
