Wayne Junction Station Interpretive Signage

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Owner/Client: SEPTA

The project involved renovations to a historic train station located along the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad and within the Germantown Historic District in Philadelphia. As part of mitigation for adverse effects to the historic property, A.D. Marble & Company developed a series of seven interpretive and information signs. Our designers and historians worked closely with local preservation groups to develop compelling and relevant content that shares Germantown’s past and highlights the outstanding cultural experience visitors can expect to find in the area. As part of the signage development, A.D. Marble & Company worked closely with SEPTA and the various stakeholders, including local historical organizations, coordinating multiple reviews and revisions.
